Belonging to South Asian Continent it the common owl can be seen in many parts of India. My attempt to capture Indian scops owl inside Mcc was a thrilling Experience.
It is Active in Night times and identifying is quite difficult for me, Thoe we can hear the sound of the owl, it perfectly camouflage it self among the trees.
I used torch to identify it and on the other hand holding the camera and getting focus is another tough thing to do during night times.
It is very sensitive and shy bird , it just fly away once it notice you movement.
During day time it can be found between tree branches and tree holes.
