This Owl was found in the out skirts of chennai. which is a migratory owl always seen in pair's, also has a good camouflaged ability to hide inside bushes on the ground.
They stay inside the bushes all day long and come out in late evening for hunt . they pray on small mamals rats, bats, insects etc.
it is a most photographed bird in Tamilnadu. As photographers from different place visit here to click the picture of this owl.
